The team back here have had a ball of a time doing what we do since June. We’re a freaking half-year old, dangit! We digress. Over the course of that time, we’ve put out quite a wealth of original cultural content & commentary on existent material out there. And it’s been anything but monodisciplinary. From our premier subculture piece (#YFD_arc), to music reviews & artist spotlight features, and to fashion writeups & narrative fiction reviews, we’ve applied ourselves to a range of media. More than that, we’ve collabed with acts beyond us, like that 1st fashion feature showcasing some motifs from the apparel brand MMPD.
However, most of our pieces, across disciplines, have been kinda disparate, on their own if you will. Being the iterative team we are, we’ve been making consumer observations & evaluating our resources, & we’ve resolved that with the coming year, we’ll have a more complementary approach to the different art forms we interest ourselves in. The features will play off each other. And we’ll expand the mediums of our offerings, something we’ve been collecting enough muscle to pull off. We’re also working on a virtual store feature that’d aim to offer more than artists’ primary products, but also incorporate extra/deluxe items, along with The Culturing branded material, be it memorabilia, or artist-publication product combos. In the spirit of growth, we recognize that it’s been a blast so far, but we’re busting our butts to make our offerings even grander. Eyes peeled!
